Assessment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer speech and language assessment as part of our therapy services as well as stand-alone assessment packages.   Assessment may involve formal standardized speech and language assessments and\/or informal assessment through observation, play and information gathering from parents, teachers and other professionals.  A comprehensive Speech Pathology report detailing your child\u2019s strengths and areas for development as well as support recommendations can be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mindful Speech Pathology prides itself on supporting children and young adults to achieve their goals in a range of areas including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Feeding\/Mealtime:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        We offer feeding assessments for children with limited food intake and delayed oral motor skills. As part of our feeding assessment services for children attending childcare\/school we can create and review Oral Eating Drinking Care Plans (OEDCPs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        We also offer responsive feeding therapy for individuals with mealtime related challenges including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Limited variety of foods<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Delayed oral motor skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Anxiety around mealtimes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Please note we do not currently offer mealtime services to individuals who are tube fed and\/or require thickened fluids.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
